Oletha moved from Alabama to Atlanta, Georgia in 2003 to attend the American InterContinental University of Buckhead in 2004. She graduated with a bachelor degree in fashion design and marketing in 2007. After graduating she self taught herself study the methods of corsetry and historical garment construction.​
Oletha’s shows are known for old world romantic and clean tailor with contemporary nature of the collections.

Une Dame Oletha was founded in 2010 starting as underground designer collaborating with the finest of photographers like Dangerously Dolly, ​​Kat Attack, Andy ​Silvers, James Hayden, Craig gum, and Morat.  As a cutting edge designer Oletha creates new styles modernizing and reinventing the corset as an indispensable and unique feminine garment for a new audience.
